Carnach House is a luxurious Edwardian mansion guest house offering an excellent bed and breakfast service with three beautiful rooms. Located close to Nairn, a small town in the Highlands. The guest house has a stunning garden with a total of nine acres and an abundance of local wildlife to enjoy. Attention to detail is extremely important at Carnach House so you can be guaranteed an excellent stay.

Carnach House is in the ideal location for keen golfers as the Guest House is close to many exceptional golf courses including Castle Stuart Golf Links and Nairn Golf Club, which are only minutes away.

The Guest house is only a short walk away from Nairn where there are many wonderful restaurants, spa’s and other amenities. This would be perfect for spending the day in Nairn or for taking a walk into the town for dinner followed by easily catching a taxi back to Carnach House. This route will take you through the beautiful woodlands.

The beginning and end point of the popular North Coast 500 route is just a short distance away from the guest house, making Carnach House an excellent place to stay if this is the reason for your visit.

Exceptional

Had the perfect stay at Carnach House. Room and bathroom were beautiful. House is stunning, grounds amazing – squirrels were an added bonus,  hosts were exceptional. Have absolutely nothing negative to say. Would highly recommend and would definitely return. You will not be disappointed.

Simply exquisite. Stunning house in beautiful
parkland. I have never seen a more tasteful interior, oak everywhere and antique furniture to die for. Our room was immaculately clean with every need catered for, a jacuzzi bath tub and the comfiest bed I have ever slept in, and a four poster to boot! Hilary and Ian were perfect hosts, and served us the most divine breakfast in the most beautiful of dining rooms. Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back!!!

This is a lovely home with fantastic hosts. The bed was very comfortable with very nice bedding for a great night sleep. Very romantic. The breakfast was really very good: I very much enjoyed the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and my husband really liked the scottish breakfast. Even the small details were so very nice here including the jacuzzi tub with chandelier. We highly recommend.

Great location if you want to be away from the city, but close to convenience of the city. Beautiful manor, very nice owners who attend to your every need. Room was spacious, comfy bed and large bathroom. Made to order breakfast, so good! Our favorite stay on our trip!

Location is great for visiting inverness and the whisky distilleries. breakfast was very good. squirrels and deers were wandering around the hotel garden. if we come again we will definitely stay here. thank you for everything. greetings to the house cat lola 🙂

Great host, spacious room and lovely house. Breakfast was good, they offer a host of options including both traditional scottish breakfast and a great salmon with scrambled eggs. By chance we stumbled on the Nairn show on our way out (once a year farming pageantry like event) – end of July. Highly recommend that too. The house is out of town so only recommend booking with a car.

A beautiful house, close to Inverness and Culloden. The rooms were some of the best we had stayed in on our two week road trip through Scotland and England. Beds and bathroom were wonderful and lovely. The location stunning, the owners were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. While the price is a little bit higher for road trippers, it’s worth it! I am looking forward to staying there again when I can get back to Scotland!

We stayed at the Carnach House on our wedding night. The house and grounds were breathtakingly beautiful, and it was lovely to wake up to the wildlife in the morning whilst we sat down for breakfast. Both hosts Ian and Hillary were lovely and very accommodating. We had a full English breakfast in the dinning room in the morning, and I was provided with a vegan option. We would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you both,

Absolutely amazing accommodation, very spacious rooms , facilities excellent. Most beautiful house & grounds, lots of birds & wildlife. Hosts very friendly & welcoming. Lots of local visitor attractions to visit. Highly recommend, the breakfast choice is vast& good quality food. The best B&b I’ve ever stayed in.
